Françoise Atlan is a French〔(Skyrock Blog )〕 singer, born in a Sephardic Jewish family in Narbonne (France) 27 July 1964. Her father was a counselor native of Béjaïa, Algeria, and her mother was a pianist and a lyrical singer.〔http://www.cliohworld.net/onlread/3/eutk.pdf〕
==Musical learning==

Françoise Atlan started to learn piano with her mother at the age of six. In 1984 when finishing her musical learning at Saint-Étienne and Aix-en-Provence conservatoires, she obtained a piano graduate (gold medal) and a chamber music graduate (gilded silver medal).
She learned musicology at Aix-Marseille University where she passed the Agrégation competitive examination for teachers. Then she worked at the same time voice techniques at Paris Opera school with Andréa Guiot.
